Chrome wont let me download a file

Spider Munki. chrome won't let me download zip files Yes, I'm not seeing the same problem in IE and FF, but I did have a download glitch yesterday in IE, where it flagged a .csv file I was downloading as infected, and deleted it. I have reason to believe it was a legitimate file (.csv files are not very notorious for containing viruses). That's what makes me think it might also be a Windows issue, or, like you said, a Windows + Chrome issue.
